The practice of censorship within American schools established itself, after Washington's presidency, as public schools were integrated into The United States' governmental/ societal spheres in the 19th century. Fears such as de-tenderizing the youth were officially cited, with the overall revolt towards imbedded political division. Undoubtedly, the culture bounded children's authors of the time as well to this building era of partisan censorship. The omittance of President Washington's pilgrimages and stances, regarding his federalist contribution by author Marcius Wilson, serves as an example of this censorship. It is fair to note that this occurred during the Jacksonian period.

Two lives are simultaneously living within each individual man, continuously, at all times. One life is connected to a physical/metaphysical aspect referred to as the social--- an aspect that is interactive with peculiars and/or everyone. The second life is the one lived when one's alone. The two, alone, within the one man, decide upon reflection of guilt, in order to determine the application of the man's will. This is displayed physically, in his actions.
